सन् २०२४ का पाँच महिनामा ६८ जिल्लामा डेंगी संक्रमण देखिएको छ । इपिडिमियोलोजी तथा रोग नियन्त्रण महाशाखा (ईडीसीडी)ले यही जुन २ सम्म ६८ जिल्लामा डेंगी पुष्टी भई एक हजार ४८ जनामा संक्रमण देखिएको जनाएको छ ।
ईडीसीडीका अनुसार, काठमाडौंमा सबैभन्दा धेरैमा संक्रमण भएको छ । यो अवधिमा काठमाडौंमा ९९, झापामा ९८, चितवनमा ७३, मकवानुरमा ५६ जना संक्रमित भएको तथ्यांक छ । यीबाहेक अरू जिल्लामा संक्रमितको संख्या ५० भन्दा कम छ । जाजरकोट, मुगु, डोल्पा, जुम्ला, बैतडी, मुस्ताङ, सिरहा र सर्लाहीमा भने यो वर्ष हालसम्म डेंगी नदेखिएको ईडीसीडीले जनाएको छ ।
सन् २०२३ मा नेपालमा ५२ हजार ७०० जनामा डेंगी पुष्टी भएको थियो । डेंगी संक्रमणबाट २० जनाको मृत्यु भएको थियो ।
